Monthly Meeting
November 20, 2007
Join the Macoupin County Genealogical Society at
the November meeting.
Dennis Garrels, author/photographer, (right in the picture
below) will present the November program for the Macoupin County Genealogical
Society. Dennis will talk about his latest work: Macoupin County on Route
66, part of the Then & Now series by Arcadia Publishing (book
cover picture). Dennis will present a photo display and talk about
the ineresting stories he was told while working on this project.
Books can be purchased at the meeting and Dennis will autograph them. The
Book Shelf on the Square in Carlinville will provide the books for sale
at this meeting.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 20th at 7:00 p.m. in the
conference room of Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton. All are welcome.
Membership is not required to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
