Partial Listing
Donated by Rick Doty
"The cemetery is well maintained."
"I suppose my kin had old sandstone headstones. The H. Yost is all
that shows on one. (Henry Yost is Henry Yost Sr. b.1859 in Germany) The
one next to his has to be his wife (nothing is visible it says). That
should
be Anna Elizabeth Huber Yost b. Feb. 1863 in Brighton, IL. (both are
listed
in the 1907 death registry) There should also be a Joseph Huber (her
father)
b. 1826 in Canton, Switzerland - d. 1910 (on the Veteran's Honor roll.
and his wife Christina Sudman Huber b. 1829 in Bremen, Germany. The
Huber
Farm where all these people lived adjoined the land of the cemetery at
one time (or close). My relative Patty Schetter still lives in the old
homestead place (house still there and liveable). It's 3 miles outside
Brighton - they had a pig farm for a long time."Becky
